Let's Fix Government, TX-18!

UPDATE 8/16/2025--RE: REDISTRICTING OF TX-18

Given recent events, I feel it is important to make a statement about what LFG.vote and my campaign envisions for the future. Us in the late Sylvester Turner's district are voting for a half-term Congressperson amid a national crisis of gerrymandering that erodes our Constitutional right to equal representation. When taken in the context of longer trends in public distrust, democratic apathy and political division, we face a system which may become permantely broken without a spark of innovation and direct engagement.

I am running for Congress to make it clear that the communities at the center of this conflict will not be divided, especially the 18th District. We will build our own process for better representation which we will spread forward in whatever districts we are ultimately assigned. LFG.vote is more aligned with the The True First Amendment to the Bill of Rights than any other system of civic engagement put into practice since our founding, and we're just getting started.

If they split us in 3, we will turn our process of direct democracy into 3x the seats being held accountable by our votes. If they split California, Ohio, Maryland, Missouri, New York, Kansas, Wisconsin and/or Florida, we will spread this movement into 30 seats as the only district with an opportunity to vote this year against the Republican's and Democrat's political gamesmanship. The Uniparty forgets that thinly divided districts are prime for new independent processes focusing on people, not politics. When I win and redistricting is federally upheld in TX-18, I will champion LFG.vote nationally for my single-year term and run in one of the adjacent districts to TX-18, entrusting the community to pick a new representative in 2026 to uphold our new standard for keeping politicians accountable.

You have my promise that I will file to run in one of the newly drawn district in 2026. Given the current stakes, there is nothing to lose in voting for what I created as a 1-year experiment in Democracy 2.0 to send a message that our most fundamental right to vote will not be partitioned by party politics.

We have too much to lose in this moment to allow national politics to dictate our self-governance. Let's Fix Government! Vote for me on November 4, 2025 and set the precedent!
